PREP Sacrament Information

2024-2025 Sacrament Information

     PREP is dedicated to serving all our students, including those attending (or who have attended) PREP and those currently attending Catholic School. The following resources are presented to assist all PREP students and families as they prepare to receive their Sacraments during the 2024-25 academic year.

First Holy Communion 2025


  • The First Holy Communion Retreat will be held  in the Kernan Center from 10AM - Noon on Saturday April 5. Parents/caregivers can drop off their children beginning at 9:45 AM.
  • First Holy Communion will begin Saturday May 3 at the 5PM Mass, then every Saturday at 5PM until Saturday May 24. Beginning Sunday May 4, First Holy Communion will be held during the 7:30, 9:30, and 11:30 Mass every Sunday until Sunday May 25 with final Sunday Mass at 11:30 AM. First Holy Communion will also be held during the week every Tuesday and Thursday at the 8:30 AM Mass beginning Tuesday May 6 and Thursday May 8, until Thursday May 22.
  • Reservations for First Holy Communion Mass are available HERE.

Note: All children must have made their First Penance before they receive First Holy Communion. Contact the PREP office for more information.

  Children’s attire: Sunday Best; no jeans, no T-shirts; no sneakers, flip flops, or shoes with flapping heels. Boys can wear a suit and tie. Girls can wear dresses; white is appropriate, but not required. If gloves are worn, they need to be removed before receiving First Holy Communion.

Sacramental Fees for Catholic School Students

(PREP students pay this as part of their tuition.)


  • Please contact the PREP Office before paying fees to learn what's available for your child.
  • There is a $35 fee required for all sacrament grades 2 and 8.
