2024-2025 Sacrament Information

     PREP is dedicated to serving all our students, including those attending (or who have attended) PREP and those currently attending Catholic School. The following resources are presented to assist all PREP students and families as they prepare to receive their Sacraments during the 2024-25 academic year.


Confirmation '25 Information


  • Our annual "Confirmation Information Meeting" was held Monday November 11, 2024 in the Kernan Center from 6-7PM.
  • You can download the meeting notes here.
  • The 2025 Confirmation packet is due January 17, 2025. You can download it here.
  • Confirmation Interviews - Saturday February 1, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Kernan Center.
  • Appointments required; a Flocknote will be sent with instructions in January 2025.

  • A parent or guardian must attend the interview with the Confirmandi.
  • Confirmation Retreat - Saturday February 8, 2025 from Noon – 4:45 PM then attend Mass at 5 PM. Parents can pick-up their children after Mass in the church.
  • The Confirmation Retreat is required for all those being confirmed; parents and sponsors are not required to attend the retreat.

  • Confirmation 2025 will be held on Saturday March 1. The first service will begin at 10:00 AM and will last approximately 1 hour. The second service will begin at 12:00 PM and will last approximately 1 hour.
  • Please note the following schedule:
  • For last names A-H, your Confirmation service is 10:00 AM. Please arrive at the church no later than 9:30 AM.
  • For last names I-Z, your Confirmation service is 12:00 PM. Please arrive at the church no later than 11:30 AM. 
  • Robes/Attire
  • Young Men
  • Suit or sports coat and dress pants with dress shirt and tie; or dress shirt and tie; sports coat optional; dress shoes. The following are not appropriate:
  • Tennis shoes/sneakers
  • Jeans, Khakis or baggy pants
  • Tee shirts or Polo Shirts
  • Novelty neckties (e.g., cartoon characters, logos, etc.)
  • Formal Tuxedos
  • Young Women
  • Modest dress, skirt and blouse, pant suit or dress pants and blouse (dress or skirt must be knee length or longer; chest, back and shoulders must be covered); dress shoes. The following are not appropriate:
  • Tennis shoes/sneakers
  • Strapless dresses
  • Mini-skirts
  • Jeans skirt, casual or Khaki skirts
  • Tight, backless, or low cut dresses
  • Exposing the abdomen
  • Formal evening gowns
  • Stoles and tiaras are not permitted
  • Your robe must be worn correctly, e.g., zipped-up completely.
  • Robes will be distributed on the day of the Confirmation Rehearsal.
  • The Confirmation Rehearsal will be held on Saturday February 22:
  • 10 AM – 11:15 AM for last names A-H
  • 11:30 AM – 12:45 PM for last names I-Z.
  • Both the Confirmation Service and rehearsal will be held in the church; please report directly to the church for both.
  • Sponsors should attend the rehearsal with Confirmandi when possible.

First Holy Communion 2025

- Dates to be announced-


  • The First Holy Communion Retreat will be held  in the Kernan Center from 10AM - Noon. Parents/caregivers can drop off their children beginning at 9:45 AM. Date to be announced.
  • First Holy Communion dates will be announced by January 2025.


Note: All children must have made their First Penance before they receive First Holy Communion. Contact the PREP office for more information.


Children’s attire: Sunday Best; no jeans, no T-shirts; no sneakers, flip flops, or shoes with flapping heels. Boys can wear a suit and tie. Girls can wear dresses; white is appropriate, but not required. If gloves are worn, they need to be removed before receiving First Holy Communion.

Sacramental Fees for Catholic School Students

(PREP students pay this as part of their tuition.)


  • Please contact the PREP Office before paying fees to learn what's available for your child.
  • There is a $35 fee required for all sacrament grades 2 and 8.
